On Real Life

I live a farm life and run a spiritual business. Most days, it looks like feeding animals, hauling water, mud on my boots, wind in my face, and a running list in my head of what still needs to get done. No aesthetic, no perfectly set space, and no version of me trying to create an Instagram-able moment. Just real life. Animals that need tending, weather that doesn’t care about my plans, and a body that has to stay present or things don’t get done.

Something in that real life changes how this work lands. The noise drops out and the overthinking doesn’t stick the same way. The connection feels cleaner. I’m not trying harder, I’m simply here. I’m in it. I’m paying attention, and I trust this more than anything that only works in the “right” environment. If it doesn’t hold up here..in movement, in mess, in real life..I’m probably not taking it with me anymore.

If it holds up here, in real life, I am in.
